Commencing over 35 years ago, TUDRIDEP has a mission of empowering rural resource poor people to claim their rightful place in the socio-economic and political environment that they find themselves, tailored towards a vision of an egalitarian and self reliant society. With a 7-member Board of Trustees in place, the organization has a total staff of 24 operating in 3 districts of Sissala East, Sissala West and Wa East districts of the UWR. Programmes now pursued are in micro finance, enterprise and market linkages, environmental conservation, gender analysis, HIV/AIDS education, cooperative development, market access and small ruminant production Currently TUDRIDEP-Funsi operates in two districts in Wa East and Dafiama, Bussie and Issah Districts of the Upper West Region. TUDRIDEP is a registered organization by limited guarantee with the Registrar General Department G.27-071 and the Department of Social Welfare.

TUDRIDEP's mission is to empower rural resource poor people to claim their rightful place in the socio-economic and political environment they find themselves and to develop skills and attitude that lead to economic, social and cultural development as a way towards greater human dignity.

ZEFP is a local and non-profit making development NGO which networks, advocates, and also provides support to Women and Farmer Associations with the aim of complementing the nation’s efforts in fighting rural poverty in the northern Ghana. The principal objective of ZEFP is to upscale environmentally friendly innovative approach in food production to improving livelihoods of the rural poor small holder farmer in the northern Ghana

Moatani women sustainable land management[SLM] project under SCI-SLM- a total of 100 household women trained and now practice pit composting for improved crop yields

249 acres of Afforestation project established for 5 communities under ECCRING
1000 vulnerable farmers supported with drought resistant livestock breeds as climate change adaptation strategy under ECCRING projects
2485 at risk poor farmers supported to grow Maize, soya and cowpea climate resilience seeds in 5 communities in support of food security needs
625 women trained and supported to produced their own energy saving stoves to reduce house hold consumption of fuel/day
300 women supported to process quality shea butter, soap and pomade as IGA strategies to increase economic income under climate change adaptation
Desertification and dry land control advocacy project under KASA aimed at pushing Ghana government to address desertification and its related poverty induced issues as a priority in the northern Ghana

Description: 
The Yelwoko Women’s Development Centre was established by Anglican Nuns from the United Kingdom in 1983 with 15 women who were taught needle work and dressmaking initially. The centre was handed over to the Anglican Church in Ghana in 1990 after the U.K. nuns left. More courses were introduced at the centre including rice processing, groundnut farming, shea butter extraction and malt making.
Objectives: 
To train women to acquire employable skills.
To support women groups to embark on economic activities.
To provide health education on HIV/AIDS and other related health problems.
To make communities aware of their civic rights and responsibilities.
To embark on education programmes to reduce population growth and bad traditional practices.
Partner Activities: 
Provide credit to women for their income generation activities.
Train women in compost making and encourage them to grow economic trees.
Give talks to communities on Family Planning, HIV/AIDS etc.
Train young girls in dressmaking, batik and soap making.
Organize courses on credit management and leadership skills for women.
Provide seed (groundnuts) to women farming groups and also small ruminants (goats).
