Description:
Evangelical Presbyterian Development and Relief Agency (EPDRA) is a registered Non Governmental Organization in the year 2005 with the registrar General in Accra ((Reg # G.16, 497). This is a development wing of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana, with its headquarters at the Volta Region. Ho. EPDRA is a body of six agricultural stations under the Church, three down Southern Ghana and three up North (Yendi, Saboba and Chereponi) located at the Eastern corridor of the northern region. Each agricultural station has a station manager and three supporting staff who are the field officers. As an agricultural station, our core business is agricultural extension that leads to improving food security for rural households’, this also includes training farmers on various topics that will lead to livelihood improvement or increase in food security to benefit both women and men farmers. We currently operate in fifty three communities with a total beneficiary of two thousand and twenty five. We also support women groups with micro credit to help them increase their income levels/livelihoods, as we do this we are also very mindful of the social inclusion of all community members in our operational areas.
Mission:
The programme exist to continuously provide Participatory, Innovative and proven Agricultural Development services that respond to the immediate and strategic needs of farmers in Northern Ghana in an effort to attain food and income security in a sustainable farming environment.

Objectives:
Enhance income levels of target beneficiaries through their involvement in enterprise development and alternative income generating activities
Enhance capacity of communities to manage their environment and conserve natural resources for sustainable exploration
Enhance the financial base of EPDRA through investment and other income generating activities
Ensure professionalism through periodic staff capacity building and upgrading
Promote sustainable agricultural development programmes through extension delivery services within target communities to enhance community food security
Enhance gender mainstreaming in overall activities of EPDRA stations
Developing our internal capacity to manage disaster situation
