Description:
The Presbyterian Primary Health Centre started as the Presbyterian Rural Health Centre in Bolgatanga in 1957. When the Bolgatanga Hospital was established in the 1960’s, the Presby Rural Health moved to work in the rural areas. In 1978 the name changed to Presbyterian Mobile Clinic which served seven villages and one year later as the Presbyterian Primary Health Centre, when its activities expanded to include antenatal and eye care.
