James Binan Yaro

James Binan Yaro is a finance professional with over 25 years multinational working experience in NGOs and educational sector. With a breadth of experience in financial management, auditing and education, Mr. Yaro currently works as the Finance Manager for ACDEP.

Prior to joining ACDEP in his current role, he had worked with a number of organizations, including GILLBT with several Language projects in addition to Fhi 360 projects, He held the positions of Senior Finance Officer, Acting Finance Manager and a Guest House Manager. He also worked with ACDI-VOCA, USAID, Advance as Regional Accountant, Educational International as Finance and Administrative Officer, Village Water Reservoir as Finance Manager, Agrostar Limited as Finance Manager and Audit Team leader in Sappor & Agyekwena Audit Firm.

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) in Finance from University of Ghana (Legon), Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Tamale Technical University and a Certificate in Education from Bagabaga College of Education, Tamale.
